NuLumenTek has worked in partnership with Almarai – the worlds largest vertically integrated food producer – since 2014. We have designed and supplied lighting solutions across multiple settings, a selection of some key projects is outlined here.

New Build Central Processing Plant 3 (CPP3)

In 2015 NulLumenTek designed and supplied all internal, external and emergency lighting in a new 40,000m2 processing facility.

Retrofit Phase 1

In 2018 Almarai appointed NuLumenTek to design and supply LED lighting for 200,000m2 processing facilities, 80,000m2 distribution centre and 40,000m2 office and accommodation space.​ This was the largest single retrofit contract at the time in the Middle East.​​

Jones Engineering were the contractor​. The project was completed in 12 months​, with 40,000 lights installed​.

The savings generated were equal to 12 MW of installed PV​.​

Solar Lighting Solution in Rabigh

In 2019 NuLumenTek designed a solar lighting solution for a 2.5km gantry for Almarai in Rabigh, on the Red Sea.

New Build Poultry Processing Plant

In 2021 NuLumenTek designed and supplied all internal, external and emergency lighting for 25,000m2 processing plant.

Retrofit Phase 2

Following on from the successful delivery of Phase 1, NuLumenTek is currently working on the design for a Phase 2 retrofit, which is over 55,000 lights.
